Shafiq Traders has no office in Faisalabad, and nothing on this page pretends otherwise. Nothing a Faisalabad mill imports or ships out moves through the city alone: the sea leg lands at Karachi Port or Port Qasim, and from there a container either clears at the seaport or moves upcountry under bond to the dry port at Lahore, where this firm has had an office since 1987. Faisalabad has its own dry port, run by the Faisalabad Dry Port Trust under the Model Customs Collectorate, Faisalabad, and a mill can file there directly through an agent licensed at that station. We are not licensed at that station. What we do is clear the file at Karachi or Lahore and arrange the road leg on to your gate — the two ends of the route your cargo already takes, worked by people who sit at both of them.
What a Faisalabad mill actually needs cleared
Textiles is the largest single vertical on our register — twenty-five companies — and most of that business sits in and around Faisalabad. On the import side that is dyes, textile machinery and spares, and raw material such as yarn and grey cloth. On the export side it is finished fabric and garments going back out, often through the same route in reverse.
None of it clears in Faisalabad itself, whether you use us or anyone else. A container lands at Karachi Port or Port Qasim. It either clears there, or it is declared for an upcountry station and moves under bond, duty still unpaid, until it reaches wherever it is actually going to be assessed.

How a Faisalabad mill's container actually moves
Filed at Karachi or Lahore, not at Faisalabad, whichever way it goes.

The shipping line's manifest names one of these as the cargo's customs station, before the vessel is even unloaded.
Cleared there, or moved under bond
If it clears at the seaport, duty is settled there. If it is going upcountry, it moves to Lahore with the duty still unpaid, under Section 121 of the Customs Act, 1969.
The Goods Declaration
Filed on the Pakistan Single Window at whichever station the container reached, assessed, and examined if the system selects it.
Duty and release
We settle what is payable and the station's own charges, then release the container to move on.
The road leg to your mill
Transport to Faisalabad is arranged through a carrier from whichever station cleared it. We do not own the trucks.

Many of the mills on this register ship through Lahore and Faisalabad rather than Karachi itself. Where the goods actually clear does not change which office runs the file.

We do not have an office in Faisalabad, and we are not going to write one into this page. What we have is a seaport where your cargo lands and a dry port where it clears if it moves upcountry, both worked by our own people, plus a road leg arranged on to your gate. If what you actually need is somebody sitting in Faisalabad watching a file at the local dry port, that is not us, and you are better off knowing that before you send us anything.
